Rt. 92 hearing transcript available online

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has released the transcript of a
public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Study of Route 92 and
has made it available to public.
The hearing was held at the Radisson Hotel on Route 1 at Ridge Road
May 20. The proposed 6.7-mile toll road would connect the N.J. Turnpike
to Route 1 at Ridge Road.
The Army Corps of Engineers has made
the transcript available online at

People interested purchasing a copy of the 400-page transcript can
send a $70 certified check or money order made payable to the Treasurer
of the United States and marked "Application Number 1999-00240-J1,
Route 92 Hearing Transcript" to the attention of the Regulatory Branch
at the Jacob K. Javitz Federal Building, New York, N.Y. 10278-0090.
The transcript also is available for review at the Army Corps of
Engineers office in New York. Those wishing to set up a time to review
